Summer Reads Recommendations

Hey guys,

I've decided, since it is still technically Summer where I am, I'm going to do a post on books I think are good to read during this time of year.
In Aussie land it's Summer during Christmas, so just flip this post to your Summer is it's Winter where you are.
So, these are the books that I recommend.
I feel like these are good books to enjoy when you want a nice light read because it's too hot to get cosy with a fantasy.

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
This is a very short book that is great to read anywhere you go on a Summers day. The story line is brilliant for when your up and about all day.
This is one of my personal favourite books.

According To YES by Dawn French
Just like the book says, "It's like the Vicar Of Dibley without the dog collar", and the Vicar Of Dibley is a great thing to watch during the Summer. So, this book is perfect.

The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
So this book destroys your heart to the point where it shouldn't be a Summery book. BUT, there is some fun scenes in it that helps give it a light hearted feel before we're all on a roller-coaster that only goes down ;)

Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen
I've got to be honest, this was a Autumn/Winter read for me, but when I think back to reading it, I just think of Summer.
It's a fantastic book that just needs read, no matter what time if year.

The Art Of Being Normal by Lisa Williamson
This book is so light hearted but it knows how to leave a very strong impact on you. This book is better to read at night when your full attention is only on that, because I feel like it will connect you to the characters more.

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
Again, just like The Fault In Our Stars, this book crushes your emotions like a grape. But, I feel that the romance in the book makes it the perfect Summer read.

The Diary Of A Young Girl by Anne Frank
This book is very deep and I have a good reason for putting this here. Here it is: in Summer people get busy going out with family and friends, and this book is good to read in snippets for when you still want to read something. Don't get me wrong, it is based on a horrific event and the whole thing does need to be read and fully digested.

That's all for my Sumner Recommendations. Again, it may be Winter for the majority of you so, sorry, but it's Summer for me.
And please, tell me what your favourite Summer read is, they could inspire me for next year.
I've said Summer in this a lot, sorry, but it's too late to go back now.

Till next time...
Byeeeee
