Books For Beginners

Hey guys

Story time: My mam stopped reading when my Nana passed away, and she really enjoyed reading, so it's upsetting that she has stopped. I keep trying to get her back into reading because it was one of her favourite pass times, which gave me inspiration for this post. Books for beginners!
End of story time!
I'm just going to get right into it.

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
This book is nice and short with a great story inside of it. It's perfect for someone who is beginning high school because then they are in the same mind set as Charlie, who just wants to get through it all. It's a great book for anyone to read for one of their first books.

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
The reason why Fangirl is a great book for people who are just getting into reading is because it's not too strong. It's a very light hearted book about someone who doesn't want change. It's also very relatable for people who love to fan over TV shows and movies. And for people who love books
.
The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins
Some people may disagree with me, but this is the trilogy that got me into reading. I read the library copies and once I finished then, I needed to read new books.
They are also perfect if you want to get into dystopian books. They are fast paced and has a great story line. They are great book, and they hold a special place in my heart.

Harry Potter series by J.K.Rowling
These were the first books that a lot of people read. Unfortunately I wasn't one of them, but they were only a few books behind. As you get further into the series, it is like they are growing up with you, or helping you get used to intense reading for other books you will read.

Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan
Like Harry Potter, this series mature ls with the reader. Unfortunately I haven't got physical copies of the series, but I have read them, and they are great. They aren't just perfect for beginners, but for everyone. They are perfectly written and they are funny.

The Art Of Being Normal by Lisa Williamson
Like Fangirl, this isn't a very heavy book. It does touch on some topics that some people might find hard to read if it's their first book, but that shouldn't be the case at all. It's amazing, light hearted, and funny. That's a great combination. It's perfect for anyone who wants something sweet to read for their first book.

Witch & Wizard by James Patterson
If you find it hard to read because you don't like or can't concentrate on long chapters, this book is perfect for you. It's a short book to begin with and having short chapters just makes you read it that little bit quicker But if you're like me and find it hard to want to story to end when you're enjoying it, that could be a bad thing. The story is great as well, which is a major plus.

Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
Story time x2: My step sister asked me a lot why I prefer reading when watching the movie is so much easier. I replied with "you get to see so much more of the world in books". And she doesn't understand how people find it so easy to picture what is going on while reading. And this is where this book comes in.
If you are like my step sister and find it hard to form a picture, this book is perfect (including the other two) because they are filled with pictures to help set the scenes and characters.

And that's all the books I will be suggesting for beginner readers.
I hoped this post helped anyone out there to find books that will get them more into reading.
If you can think of any other books, please let me know!

Till next time
