Disney Movies To Books

Hey guys

I've been into Disney Movies for the past week, they're all I've been watching, apart from the occasional horror. Big change of genres, I know haha. So because of my Disney binge faze part 100, I decided to make this.

Descendants
So this movie is about the children of 4 villains: Carlos son on Cruella De Vil, Jay son of Jafar, Evie daughter of The Evil Queen, and Mal daughter of Maleficent. They live on an island called The Isle Of The Lost, and it's where all the villains were banished to.
Then there is Auradon where all the good people live, and the King and Queen are Adam and Belle. Their son, Ben, decides to make a proclamation to give the villain kids a chance of being good, he chooses Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos.
Before they 4 leave the Isle, Maleficent has set a task for them. And that's to steal the Fairy Godmothers wand.
If you like the film, you'll like...
Isle Of The Lost by Melissa De La Cruz
This is set just before the movie, they aren't friends yet but they go on a journey together to retrieve the Dragon's Eye from Maleficent's old castle as a way to break the barrier that stops them from escaping the Isle.
Mal soon learns from her mother that the Dragon's Eye is cursed and whoever retrieves it will be knocked into a deep sleep for a thousand years. But Mal has a plan to capture it. She'll just need a little help from her "friends". In their quest for the Dragon's Eye, these kids begin to realise that just  because you come from an evil family tree, being good ain't so bad.

Alice's Adventures In Wonderland
Obviously this is about a girl named Alice who falls down a rabbit hole after chasing a talking white rabbit in a waistcoat. She appears in Wonderland. There she meets a bunch of strange creatures and The Mad Hatter, all the while, there is a crazy Queen Of Hearts out to get Alice.
There were two versions of this movie. The original animation and the Tim Burton version.
I have two books for this movie, maybe they are more for the Tim Burton movies but I could be wrong.
The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Bedoor
When Alyss Heart, newly orphaned heir to the Wonderland throne, flees through the Pool of Tears to escape her murderous Aunt Redd, she finds herself lost and alone in Victorian London. Befriended by an aspiring author named Lewis Carrol, Alyss tells the violent, heartbreaking story of her young life. Alyss trusts this author to tell the truth so that someone, somewhere will find her and bring her home. But he gets the story all wrong. He even spells her name incorrectly!
And:
Heartless by Marissa Meyer
Catherine may be one of the most desired girls in Wonderland, and a favourite of the unmarried King of Hearts, but her interests lie elsewhere. A talented baker, all she wants is to open a shop with her best friend. But according to her mother, such a goal is unthinkable for the young woman who could be the next Queen.
Then Cath meets Jest, the handsome and mysterious court joker. For the first time, she feels the pull of true attraction. At the risk of offending the King and infuriating her parents, she and Jest enter into an intense, secret courtship. Cath is determined to define her own destiny and fall in love on her terms. But in a land thriving with magic, madness, and monsters, fate has other plans.

Cinderella
Everyone knows this movie. There's a girl names Cinderella whose dad marries again after her mam passed away, and her new stepmother and stepsisters are cruel. Then the Fairy Godmother grants Cinderella her wish to go to the ball, but she has to be home by midnight because that's when the magic will wear off. And while she is running out of the Palace she somehow loses a glass shoe. Although how she was able to dance in them is beyond me.
The book for this is:
Cinder by Marissa Meyer
Cinder, a gifted mechanic in New Beijing, is also a cyborg. She's reviled by her stepmother and blamed for her stepsister's sudden illness. But when her life becomes entwined with the handsome Prince Kai, she finds herself at the centre of a violent struggle between the desires of an evil queen - and a dangerous temptation.
he same goes for the rest of The Lunar Chronicles and their respective fairy tales
.
The Jungle Book
Raised by a family of wolves since birth, Mowgli must leave the only home he's ever known when the fearsome tiger Shere Khan unleashes his mighty roar. Guided by his no-nonsense panther and a free-spirited bear, the young boy meets an array of jungle animals, including a slithery python and a smooth-talking ape. Along the way, Mowgli learns valuable life lessons as his epic journey of self-discovery leads to fun and adventure.
And what better book for this movie than...
The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling

(describes)
The Jungle Book can be regarded as classic stories told by an adult to children. But they also constitute a complex literary work of art in which the whole of Kipling's philosophy of life is expressed in miniature. They are best known for the 'Mowgli' stories; the tale of a baby abandoned and brought up by wolves, educated in the ways and secrets of the jungle by Kaa the python, Baloo the bear, and Bagheera the black panther. Th stories are a mixture of fantasy, myth and magic.

I know some of these are very typical and obvious but I wrote this in a bit of a rush (currently writing this I am leaving for Sydney in 2 hours and I'll be away for when this needs posted so I need it finished so I can post it on my phone.... Fun times!), so I don't think I did too bad.
Also, Happy Valentines Day, I hope you're having a good day with your loved ones (I personally wish I was with Barney (dog) right now but we're on other ends of the country so that will be a bit difficult). Here's a Valentine meme card for you all:
(I did not make this)
