Top 5 Wednesday (Rewind)

Hey guys,

So Lainey and Samantha (the moderators of Top 5 Wednesday) have said that this month is a rewind month. So I've decided to do a topic I love, which is: Favourite Maps!

So to start off, number 5 is: Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake

I'm a sucker for detailed maps and if this isn't on, I don't know what will make it one. It's very cramped, which I sometimes don't like, but it's worked out for this map. It's easy to find the places, which is great because it helps you understand the scale of things.

Now, for number 4: Children Of Blood And Bone by Tomi Adeyemi
I like this one because there isn't any information on here that's not needed. I also like that it includes the sea considering where the sea comes into at the beginning. It's also cool how the map is on the inside of the cover.

Now at number 3: The Christmasaurus by Tom Fletcher

I love this map because it's so cute and childish. When you were younger, you always wanted to know what the North Pole looked like (don't try and deny it), and this just fills my child like imagination. I also like the little keys for the sweet shops, the bakeries, and (my personal favourite) the North Star-Bucks.

Coming down to number 2 is: Caraval by Stephanie Garber

This is an amazing map. It's got lovely detail in, so you can see the layout of it and where Scarlett and Julian go, and how they do that. I also like how there are only names for the main places in the book so it's not over crowded with writing. The Legendary map looks amazing as well, I'll put the link to Stephanie Garber's Instagram photo of it, here: Legendary Map

And now my favourite map... .
.
.
.
. The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien

Middle Earth is my dream place, I would love to like there! Unfortunately, that isn't possible. But at least I have a nap to keep me happy. This would have been joint first place with The Lord Of The Rings, but I don't a map for them.

I haven't wrote much for these because I think the maps do all the talking. But tell me what your favourite maps are!

Till next time
Byeeeeeeee
